Sista Visit

My sister L is in town for a visit. She got in late, late last night (or was it early, early this morning). Her flight was delayed, and the checked baggage was super slow to come out, so we got back to my place at about 1:30am, and I wasn't off to bed until after 2am.

We slept in, had a lovely, lazy breakfast (sorry, no photos) and went to Denver to the Aquarium.

I've never been to the Denver Aquarium before, and it was a lot of fun.
I took a bunch of photos , but there are a few I'm really happy about.

Some Aquarium highlights included seeing some really large and beautiful fish, some weird lumpy fish, unicorn fish--they really have horns!, sea anemones, giant moray eels, giant turtles, sharks, lots of varieties of local fresh water fish, jelly fish, sea horses, and tigers. Yes, tigers. I'm not really sure what tigers have to do with aquariums, but there sure was one big beautiful sleeping giant in there.

Later we're heading to downtown to walk around and probably eat out. I'm hoping to take her for a little hike tomorrow, but there's a lot of altitude acclimating that needs to happen first.
